★ 操場和游樂場英文都是playground嗎？

★ 足球場和羽毛球場的“場”英文一樣嗎？

★ 室內(nèi)游樂場是playroom還是indoor playground呢？

我們還寫過游樂場、坐滑梯、游樂園相關(guān)英文的文章，見文末鏈接。

(1) Playground：游樂場，指有滑梯、秋千、攀登架等游樂設(shè)施的場地

所以，幼兒園的“操場”應(yīng)翻譯為playground。當(dāng)然，公園里的游樂場也叫playground。

At the playground, everyone has their turn.

在游樂場里，每個人都得按順序玩。

(2) Indoor playground：室內(nèi)游樂場，有滑梯、秋千、攀登架等游樂設(shè)施

The indoor playground has a ball pit, jungle gym, and an inflatable castle.

這個室內(nèi)游樂場有海洋球、大滑梯和充氣堡。

在美式英語里，jungle gym指有各種攀爬、滑梯組件的組合游樂設(shè)施。

(3) Playroom：游戲室，可能有小型的滑梯，但其主要功能是看管孩子，以玩具為主，游樂設(shè)施為輔

The early education center has a playroom. You can play there for a little while after your class.

早教中心有一個游戲室。你下了課可以在那兒玩會兒。

Playroom不要和玩街機(jī)的游戲廳-arcade相混淆。

(4) Amusement park：游樂園，指有過山車、激流勇進(jìn)等電動游樂設(shè)施的公園

What ride do you want to go on at the amusement park tomorrow?

你明天去游樂園想玩什么項(xiàng)目??？

(5) Schoolyard 操場

Schoolyard-操場是一個大的概念，playground-游樂場、soccer field-足球場、basketball court-籃球場都可能是schoolyard-操場的一部分。

All Fourth Grade students, go to the schoolyard.

全體四年級同學(xué)到操場上集合。

The students are having a flag raising ceremony on the schoolyard.

學(xué)生們正在操場上舉行升旗儀式。

(6) Field：運(yùn)動場，有草坪，外圈可能有跑道

Applicable sports 適用運(yùn)動：soccer-足球，football-美式足球，baseball-棒球，hockey-曲棍球等

The soccer field is soggy after the rain yesterday.

昨天的一場雨后，足球場濕透了。

(7) Court: 球場，硬地

Applicable sports 適用運(yùn)動：basketball-籃球，volleyball-排球，tennis-網(wǎng)球，badminton-羽毛球，squash-壁球等

Go find your place on the court. Were about to start the game.

趕快到球場找到你的站位。咱們馬上要開始比賽了。

(8) Rink：冰場

Applicable sports 適用運(yùn)動：skating-滑冰，roller-skating-旱冰，ice hockey-冰球

You can hold on to the side of the rink until you are ready to skate.

你可以先扶著冰場旁邊的桿，準(zhǔn)備好了再滑。

Dont just stand in the middle of the rink.

別光在冰場中間站著。

(9) Open space：空場

The school has an open space for you to do exercises.

學(xué)校里有一塊空場，你們可以做操。

(1) 亦可用open area；

(2) 做操是一個中國特色概念，我們的美國外教認(rèn)為學(xué)生們做的廣播操是group dancing，或者叫school-wide dancing。

有用戶問，鑒于操場是一塊開闊的、方形的場地，是否可以用square？答案是不行的，因?yàn)閟quare專指城鎮(zhèn)中心的廣場。

(10) square：廣場

My mother owns a shop in the town square.

我媽在鎮(zhèn)中心廣場有個店鋪。

People crowded the square.

廣場上擠滿了人。
