日常的“扔垃圾”英文怎么說？

生活一大樂趣是吃喝，吃飽喝足玩到盡興，只是徒留垃圾堆砌，處處礙眼，唯有一扔了事。

有人說“扔”垃圾：“Throw the rubbish” 扔垃圾，可不是這么用的！

一."扔垃圾"要如何表達？？

throw “投擲，拋出”，用throw the rubbish，會給人一種你要“高空拋物”的感覺。確定不會出人命嗎？

所以，我們正常的扔垃圾用英語該怎么說？

①如果你在家里，“扔垃圾，倒垃圾” 可以說：

take（put）out the trash / rubbish / garbage

在美式英語中大家慣用：garbage [?ɡɑ?b?d?] 和 trash [tr??]

在英式英語中大家慣用：rubbish [?r?b??]

例：

I forgot to put the rubbish out this morning.

我今天早上忘記扔垃圾了。

②如果你在外面，手里有“扔垃圾” 需要扔，可以說：

put it in the dustbin / garbage can / trash can

dustbin [?d?stb?n] 垃圾桶

例：

Put the empty box in the dustbin.

把空盒子扔到垃圾桶里。

如果你要 “清理垃圾桶”，可以說：

Empty the recycle bin

③bin或者用短語rubbish bin

bin可以做名詞，表示：垃圾箱，垃圾桶

例：

Do you want this or shall I put it in the bin?

你要這個嗎，還是讓我把它扔進垃圾箱？

先來看看國內(nèi)外是如何表達“垃圾分類”的：

所以，“垃圾分類”可以這樣搭配表達

trash/rubbish/garbage/waste

大家可以注意到這里用的是waste

而不是garbage 或 rubbish

因為waste范圍比較廣，可以指任何被丟棄的東西。
