Spring Festival ,known as the Chinese New Year,which counts from the first day in the lunar calendar ,and is the most important holiday in China.From late January to early February,Chinese people are busy preparing for the New Year.They clean their houses ,have their hair cut,and buy new clothes .Jiaozi or dumpling is most popular.To those who live far away from their home,this festival is also a family reunion occasion.

春節(jié)，即中國人的新年，它是從農(nóng)歷的第一天開始算起開始的，是中國最重要的節(jié)日。從一月末到二月初人們忙著為新年做準(zhǔn)備。他們打掃房屋、理發(fā)和買新衣服。餃子是最受歡迎的。對那些遠(yuǎn)離家鄉(xiāng)的人們，春節(jié)是一個(gè)合家團(tuán)聚的時(shí)刻。

And they often go back home to celebrate the festival with their family.At the time,the children will play the fireworks and firecracker。further more，once the children greet to olds， for return,the olds will give the children lucky money.and last The first day of the new year is the time when people visit their friends and wish each other good luck in the new year,remember to be happy!

這時(shí)，小孩子們就會(huì)開始燃放鞭炮和爆竹，還有只要小孩子對大人們打招呼了，作為獎(jiǎng)勵(lì)，小孩子們還會(huì)得到壓歲錢。最后，新年第一天人們訪友并互祝新年好運(yùn),別忘記了要開心一點(diǎn)!

The Spring Festival, Chinese New Year, is the most important festival for all of us.

春節(jié)，寓意著中國新年，是我們中國人最重要的傳統(tǒng)節(jié)日。

All family members get together on New Year Eve to have a big meal. At the same time, everyone celebrates to each other. On the first early morning of one year, people stick the Fu or hang some couplets on the front door. Some houses windows are stuck on red paper cuttings. The Chinese New Year lasts fifteen days. So during the fifteen days, we always visit our relatives from door to door. At that time,children are the happiest because they can get many red packets form their parents, grandparents, uncles, aunts and so on. The last day of the Chinese New Year is another festival.

在這個(gè)節(jié)日里，所有的家人都在除夕夜聚在一起吃一頓大餐。同時(shí)，每個(gè)人都互相慶祝著。在一年的第一個(gè)清晨，人們在門上貼上或掛上對聯(lián)。一些房子的窗戶粘上紅色的剪紙上。中國新年會(huì)持續(xù)十五天。所以在這十五天里，我們總是登門拜訪我們的親戚。那時(shí)，孩子們最快樂，因?yàn)樗麄兛梢詮母改?、祖父母、叔叔、阿姨還有其他親戚那里得到很多紅包。春節(jié)的最后一天是另一個(gè)節(jié)日。

The Lunar New Year is a great occasion to the Chinese people. It lasts about the first four days of the year， during which people do not work except for the workers on duty. Students do not go to school，and shops are closed.

農(nóng)歷新年是中國人民的盛事。它持續(xù)大約一年的前四天，在此期間,除了值班的工人以外其他人都不工作。學(xué)生不上學(xué)，商店關(guān)門。

Several days before the new year， people begin to prepare. Farmers kill pigs，sheep，cocks and hens. City dwellers buy meat fish and vegetables. Houses are cleaned; couplets are posted on the doors. Colourful lanterns are hung at the gate.

新年的前幾天，人們開始準(zhǔn)備。農(nóng)民宰殺豬、羊、公雞和母雞。城市居民買肉、魚和蔬菜。房子被打掃了，對聯(lián)貼在門上。門口掛著五顏六色的燈籠。

On the eve of the new year， each family has its members gatherd together and eats a family reunion dinner. After the meal they watch TV until the clock strickes twelve. Then every family sets off long strings of small firecrackers and other fire works to welcome the new year. On the first day of the new year，almost everyone is dressed in his or her best. When people meet on the way， they say to each other "Happy New Year". Friends and relatives pay new year calls and gives presents to each other. Children indulge themselves in games.

Chinese new year is a chinese traditional festival. We also call it the spring festival. It is on lunar january 1st.

春節(jié)是中國的傳統(tǒng)節(jié)日。我們也把它叫做春節(jié)。它是在每年的農(nóng)歷的1月1日。

On new years eve, all the people sit around the desk and have a big family dinner. There are some vegetables, some fish, some meat, some fruits and some drink like juice, coke, pepsi and some nice wine. Overall, this is a good and delicious dinner. After dinner, we always watch TV new year progammes. We have a wonderful evening on new year’s eve.

除夕之夜，所有的人圍坐在餐桌旁，吃了一頓大大的家宴。有一些蔬菜，一些魚，一些肉，一些水果和一些飲料，像果汁，可樂，百事可樂和一些不錯(cuò)的葡萄酒。總的來說，這是一頓美味可口的晚餐。晚飯后，我們總是看電視新年節(jié)目。我們在除夕夜度過了一個(gè)愉快的夜晚。

On the first day of the spring festival, most of people get up early and say "happy new year" to each other. for breakfast, people often eat dumplings and baozi. After breakfast, people often make many delicious foods, and children often play cards, computer games and fireworks. On the second and third day, we visit friends and relatives.

在春節(jié)的第一天，大部分人都早早起床，互致“新年快樂”。人們把餃子和包子當(dāng)做早餐來吃。早餐過后，大人們會(huì)經(jīng)常做許多美味的食物，而孩子們經(jīng)常玩紙牌、電腦游戲和煙花。在春節(jié)的第二天和第三天時(shí)，我們會(huì)登門拜訪朋友和親戚。

In the evening before the Spring Festival ,families get together and have a big meal .In many places people like to set off firecrackers. Dumplings are the most traditional food .Children like the festival very much ,because they can have delicious food and wear new clothes .They can also get some money from their parents. This money is given to children for good luck. People put New Year scrolls on the wall for good fortune.

在春節(jié)前的晚上，家人聚在一起吃大餐，許多地方人們喜歡放鞭炮，餃子是最傳統(tǒng)的食物，孩子們非常喜歡這個(gè)節(jié)日，因?yàn)樗麄兛梢猿悦牢兜氖澄?，穿新衣服，他們也可以從父母那里得到一筆壓歲錢。這筆錢是送給孩子們的好運(yùn)氣。人們把春聯(lián)貼在墻上以獲得好運(yùn)。

The Spring Festival lasts about 15 days long. People visit relatives and friends with the words "Have all your wishes ". People enjoy the Spring Festival, during this time they can have a good rest.

春節(jié)大約會(huì)持續(xù)15天，人們會(huì)在春節(jié)期間走親訪友，對那些親友們說一句“祝你一切順利”。人們可以好好享受春節(jié)，在這段時(shí)間里，他們可以好好休息。
