雅思聽力考試中單復(fù)數(shù)的拼寫對(duì)于絕大部分考生而言都是一個(gè)始終無法解開的謎題。主要原因是考生們雖然知道聽力答案是所聽即所得，但有時(shí)根本無法聽清楚在答案單詞后是否有一個(gè)s的音。而且更加讓人頭疼的原因是，考生在自己對(duì)答案的過程中，又會(huì)發(fā)現(xiàn)答案單復(fù)數(shù)變化多端，有時(shí)只能寫單數(shù)，有時(shí)只能寫復(fù)數(shù)，有時(shí)卻單數(shù)復(fù)數(shù)都算對(duì)。但這其中是否有一些規(guī)律呢？在本篇文章中，我將以雅思真題為出發(fā)點(diǎn)，為大家分析這個(gè)問題，并讓大家理解在什么樣的情況下可以辨別出答案的單復(fù)數(shù)！

先介紹一個(gè)和單復(fù)數(shù)息息相關(guān)的拼寫規(guī)范：a/an/the前綴在劍橋雅思9/10/11的答案中再未出現(xiàn)過，其實(shí)也明顯反映了雅思考試近5年的一個(gè)答案拼寫趨勢(shì)----a/an/the不需要再寫入答案中。

再介紹一個(gè)語法知識(shí)點(diǎn)幫助大家理解后續(xù)的內(nèi)容：?jiǎn)螖?shù)名詞一般不直接出現(xiàn)（必須有前綴a/an/the），復(fù)數(shù)名詞可以直接出現(xiàn)。

舉個(gè)最簡(jiǎn)單的例子，我們寫作中經(jīng)常會(huì)寫people believe that… 但我們不能寫person believes that，而必須要寫a/the person believes…

我們通過分析比較題目空格的預(yù)測(cè)語法形式和對(duì)應(yīng)錄音原文的實(shí)際情況，來看一下劍橋官方會(huì)把什么樣的題目設(shè)定為只能寫單數(shù)的答案，什么樣的題目設(shè)定為只能寫復(fù)數(shù)答案，以及什么樣的題目用單數(shù)復(fù)數(shù)都可以。

第一種情況：只能寫單數(shù)的答案（題目空格語法形式是單數(shù)或無法判斷，錄音中原文是單數(shù)）

1.最常見的情況是題目空格前后給出明顯語法提示：如題目空格前有a/an/one, 或空格后的是第三人稱單數(shù)is/was/does

例：劍10 Test3 Section4 Q38

Passionately communicate a clear ____

Audioscripts:

Their speech is passionate and conveys a definitive vision.

答案：vision

2.題目出現(xiàn)并列關(guān)系，且和單數(shù)名詞并列

例：劍10 Test1 Section1 Q10

3.答案是不可數(shù)名詞或特指的名詞

例：劍11 Test4 Section1 Q3

4.題目空格無法判斷單復(fù)數(shù)，錄音是單數(shù)。

第二種情況：只能寫復(fù)數(shù)的答案（題目空格語法形式是復(fù)數(shù)，錄音中原文也是復(fù)數(shù)）

1.題目給出語法提示：如空格前出現(xiàn)any/some等前綴，空格后出現(xiàn)are/were/do

例：劍10 Test1 Section2 Q19

Premier members can bring some ____ every month.

Audioscripts:

答案：guests

2.題目出現(xiàn)并列關(guān)系，且和復(fù)數(shù)名詞并列

例：劍9 Test3 Section4 Q35

答案：windows

第三種情況：答案既能寫單數(shù)，又能寫復(fù)數(shù)。這種情況是同學(xué)們最不會(huì)判斷的情況，因?yàn)樗怯深}目空格的語法預(yù)測(cè)形式，以及錄音答案的實(shí)際情況兩部分共同決定，會(huì)比較復(fù)雜。

1.題目空格的語法形式無法確定是單數(shù)還是復(fù)數(shù)，錄音原文可能是單數(shù)或復(fù)數(shù)。

例：劍10 Test4 Section2 Q20

Children shouldn’t use the ____

2.題目空格的語法形式確定是單數(shù)，錄音原文是復(fù)數(shù)/ 題目空格語法形式確定是復(fù)數(shù)，但錄音原文是單數(shù)。

例：劍10 Test1 Section2 Q20

Members should always take their ____ with them.

It’s very important to remember your photo card because you won’t be able to get in without it.

答案：photo card/ photo cards

總結(jié)：

由以上特點(diǎn)分析，可得出這樣一個(gè)結(jié)論，

1. 如果聽力能力很好，可以聽到復(fù)數(shù)的s尾音，那我們只遵循所聽即所得即可。

2. 如果聽不出尾音s，只要我們能通過題目判斷出空格的語法形式，這道題就一定不會(huì)有錯(cuò)。

3. 當(dāng)我們無法判斷出空格語法形式時(shí)，建議寫單數(shù)。
